Mike Romeo, Director, Nuclear Safety Assurance
  Michael A. Romeo was named Director, Nuclear Safety Assurance for Entergy Vermont Yankee in July 2010. He has overall responsibility for the Security, Corrective Action and Assessment, Licensing, Emergency Plan, Quality Assurance and Administrative Services Departments at Vermont Yankee. He began his career with Entergy Nuclear when the company purchased Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Corporation in July 2002 where he held the position of Technical Training Superintendent. In October of 2005, Mike transferred to Operations Training Superintendent until being promoted to Manager, Training and Development in December 2007.
Norman L. Rademacher, Director of Engineering
Norm Rademacher became the Director of Engineering in September 2006. He is responsible for the Engineering Organization at the Entergy Nuclear Vermont Yankee Station, implementing the dry fuel storage facility and completing the license renewal application for the station. Norm began his career with Entergy Nuclear in 2005 serving as NSA Director, responsible for Quality Assurance, the Licensing organization, Security, Emergency Planning and the Corrective Action Program. He was responsible for implementation of 20 percent power uprate and improved station operational performance to exemplary. Rademacher has 37 years of nuclear experience beginning at Niagara Mohawk as a Nuclear Licensing Engineer. He has held many management positions at Niagara Mohawk including Systems Engineering Manager, Operations Manager, Plant Manager and Corporate Quality Assurance Manager. Norm holds a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Science from the State University of New York Maritime College, and completed an MBA in 2001 at Le Moyne College. Norm was previously licensed as a Senior Reactor Operator.
